Our November 2019 production is the witty comedy Theft by Eric Chappell, author of Rising Damp.
It’s every homeowner’s nightmare. A rich businessman and his wife return home from a meal out with friends to find their home has been ransacked. Cool as you like, the burglar has even been eating sweets in one of the rooms upstairs.
It turns out that the culprit is still inside the house. At first he tries to cover himself by pretending to be a police detective investigating the case. But as his story unravels the tables are turned as the homeowners and their friends learn some uncomfortable truths about each other.
Performances are on Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th November at 7.30 pm at the Community Centre, Elsdon Avenue, Seaton Delaval. Tickets are priced only £8 or £7 concessions.
We’d love to hear from you!
