Following two successful previous engagements with the Valley Players, Sherlock Holmes once again dusts off the deerstalker and meerschaum for another selection of adventures from his bulging casebook.
Dastardly doings at Dangling Brothers Circus have left snake charmer Ali Ben Nevis dead. Meanwhile, it’s been reported that a 4,000 year old mummy has come back to life to create havoc in the Museum of Antiquities, and there’s been an unfortunate case of death by cello at the newly opened Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
All these nefarious happenings have left Inspector Lestrade of the London Police scratching his head. Can Holmes, the world famous private detective and toffee-nosed ponce, solve the mysteries?
Arthur Conan Doyle is no doubt spinning in his grave, but the Valley Players are delighted to have the chance to perform these hilarious scripts written specially for us by Tony Hare.
Performances are on Tuesday 30th April, Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd May at 7.30 pm at the Community Centre, Elsdon Avenue, Seaton Delaval. Tickets are priced only £8 or £7 concessions.
We’d love to hear from you!
