Looking for a new pastime? Why not join the Valley Players?
We are now looking forward to our 2018-19 season.
Our first production is I Thought I Heard a Rustling…, by the late Alan Plater.
This very topical character-based comedy is about a branch library threatened with closure. In the mix is the no-nonsense senior librarian, a roguish ex-miner who has secured a position as writer in residence, and an earnest would-be author who covets the latter position. Can they save the library from supermarket expansion?
Rehearsals will begin in late August 2018.
Would you like to join our friendly group for our new season? Previous experience of amateur theatre is not necessary, and we would love to hear from you. What have you got to lose?
You can contact us at any time during the summer break. We will respond to any message promptly.
